When we found out Magnetude had been shortlisted for B2B Agency of the Year at the 2026 US Agency Awards, it felt like validation of something we’ve believed for a long time: that a clear strategy, real focus, and relentless attention to client impact is what actually moves the needle, not size, not flash, not who’s got the biggest name on their client roster.

Most of the industries we call home, cybersecurity, IT services, industrial, professional services, operate in critical, high-stakes environments where marketing can’t afford to be generic. The wins we deliver for clients looks like a pipeline that actually grows, sales teams that trust the story marketing is telling, and companies that carve out a real position in crowded, competitive markets. Recognition like this doesn’t change why we do the work. It just confirms that the approach behind it is real, and it’s felt.

Why We Do This Work

I started Magnetude because of what I saw from the inside of a big company. I spent my career in-house, watching what real marketing muscle could do with the right budget and team behind it, and watching how out of reach that same caliber of marketing was for smaller companies who needed it just as much. So we built something different: a firm made up of fractional teams, where specialists show up exactly where and when a client needs them, many of whom have worked both in-house and at agencies, and understand a client’s business as well as their marketing.

Two Stories I Keep Coming Back To

One story I’m especially proud of is a cybersecurity client who came to us needing more than lead gen. They needed a real go-to-market foundation. We built their UVP and brand from the ground up, positioned them clearly in a genuinely crowded market, and mapped out a full content and demand strategy to match; new site, content architecture, and a marketing plan that took a crawl, walk, run approach. Then we executed it. Eighteen months later: leads up 80X, SQLs tripled year over year, and expansion into the US, India, and the Middle East. In a market that is highly competitive, those numbers don’t happen without a brand and a strategy built to last.

Then there’s Express 4X4 Truck Rental, a favorite story of mine. The business was healthy, but what they lacked was clarity: something genuinely special about how they operated wasn’t showing up in how they talked about themselves. It’s a gap I see often, and it’s why I think about every engagement through four lenses: market, message, mechanism, and measurement. Miss any one, and the rest falls apart. With Express, we sharpened their segment, tightened the message, built the right systems (a new CRM, marketing automation), and put measurement in place to prove it was working. Leads grew 15x, and the pipeline has held steady ever since.

Their Director of Marketing, Carlos Oropeza, said it better than I ever could: “Magnetude helped us build a true marketing growth engine, from strategy and digital demand generation to CRM implementation and reporting. Magnetude works as an extension of our organization, aligning with our sales team, leadership, and marketing staff to ensure every initiative supports our growth goals. The results speak for themselves.”

An extension of our organization. I’ve turned that phrase over in my head more times than I can count since he said it, because it really is the whole model, distilled down to five words.

“I led the Express 4X4 account from day one, and what I remember most isn’t any single metric, it’s watching a genuinely great business finally get the marketing engine it deserved. None of that happens without this team. I get to do this work because of the people around me who care just as much about our clients’ success as I do. This nomination belongs to all of them.”

A Moment of Gratitude

Whatever comes of this nomination, I find myself with pride and gratitude already. To our team, who shows up every day for our clients with more care and rigor than most people will ever see or know about. To our clients, who’ve trusted us with their businesses at genuinely pivotal moments and, in the process, become people I’m lucky to call friends. And to the judges and organizers at the US Agency Awards, simply for considering us alongside so many agencies we admire.

We don’t do this work for recognition. We do it because we love it, and because nothing beats seeing a client win in a market that matters. But recognition like this is a welcome signal that the strategy, the focus, and the impact we bring to every client relationship are exactly as real as we believe them to be. Whatever comes of this nomination, that’s the part that stays true.
